Jessica Schneider, Psy.D. :: Consultant & Trainer
Dr. Jessica Schneider is the founder & Executive Director of Evidence Based Therapy Chicago. She completed her Psy.D. in clinical psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, where her clinical training concentrated on Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She completed an APA-accredited internship and two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Casa Pacifica Center for Children and Families and received intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Dr. Schneider utilizes evidence-based treatment to help individuals with complex problems in her areas of specialization, which include emotion/behavioral dysregulation, self-injury, suicidality, parenting difficulties, adolescents, depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, insomnia, and relational aggression. Dr. Schneider is also passionate about treatment dissemination through her roles as supervisor, consultant, and trainer. She worked as the Director of Training at a large evidence-based group practice and currently conducts trainings and consultations throughout the country for the Treatment Implementation Collaborative, LLC (TIC). She frequently lectures at universities including UCLA, UCI, and Pepperdine. She has also presented at and is on the program committee for the International Society for the Implementation and Teaching of DBT.
